Road Safety Awareness Programme

As part of Road Safety Month, Kuniya College of Arts and Science, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), conducted “Road Safety Awareness Programme” to promote safe and responsible road practices among students and staff.
The session was led by Mr. V. J. Saju, Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector, Sub Regional Transport Office, Kanhangad. With his wide experience in the field, Mr. Saju spoke on important topics such as:
• The need to follow traffic rules
• The importance of wearing helmets and seat belts
• The risks of over speeding and using mobile phones while driving
• Legal penalties for breaking road safety laws
• The role of students in spreading awareness about road safety
The session was informative and engaging. Mr. Saju shared real-life examples and statistics to explain the seriousness of road accidents and how simple steps can help prevent them. He encouraged students to be careful, follow the rules and help create a safer environment for everyone.
This event reflects the college’s ongoing efforts to support students overall development and encourage social awareness. By organizing such programmes, Kuniya College aims to contribute to building a safer community.
The college thanks Mr. V. J. Saju for his valuable contribution and all the participants for their active involvement in making the programme a success.
