Kuniya College of Arts and Science proudly launched KRPA Tea, a student-led entrepreneurial initiative dedicated to community welfare and social responsibility. This meaningful venture was officially inaugurated by Mr. Sajith Kumar K., Joint Director and General Manager, District Industries Centre (DIC), Kasaragod marking a significant milestone in the college’s commitment to experiential learning and civic engagement.
KRPA Tea is an extension of the college’s earlier successful project, KLEAN and is designed to provide sustainable support for palliative care services in the local community. The proceeds generated through the initiative will be directed towards funding essential medicines and rehabilitative care thereby addressing critical healthcare needs among underserved populations.
This initiative is closely aligned with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) promoting practical hands-on learning experiences that promote entrepreneurial skills and ethical responsibility among students. By actively participating in the planning, production and promotion of KRPA Tea, students gain valuable exposure to real world business operations while contributing meaningfully to societal development.
