Living Through the Legacy of Mahatma: BSW’s Observance of Gandhi Jayanthi

Gandhi Jayanthi holds a special place in our hearts as we remember the profound impact of Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings and actions. The Department of Social Work at Kuniya College of Arts and Science observed this significant day with reverence and reflection.

To commemorate Gandhi Jayanthi, an enlightening exhibition was organized, offering a glimpse into the life, struggles, and ideologies of the Mahatma. Over 100 exhibits meticulously curated by students provided a comprehensive insight into Gandhi’s journey and his unwavering commitment to truth and non-violence.

Visitors from across the college community gathered at the College Seminar Hall to explore the exhibition, showcasing rare artifacts and providing a nuanced understanding of Gandhi’s principles.

In addition to the exhibition, a thought-provoking discussion session led by esteemed faculty members explored the relevance of Gandhi’s principles in today’s world.

Students from different disciplines contributed their talents and perspectives, from speeches to creative presentations, adding a unique dimension to the commemoration.

The event also featured engaging competitions focusing on Gandhi and his ideologies, fostering healthy competition and camaraderie among students.
