As part of the state-wide Anti-Drug initiative “Life is Beautiful,” Kuniya College of Arts and Science has proudly declared itself a drug-free campus. The official declaration was made by our esteemed Principal Dr. Faiz Abdulla, marking a firm step towards creating a safe and healthy academic environment.
The campaign was led by NSS Program Officer Dr. Jeena T. C., who coordinated several impactful activities to raise awareness among students, staff and visiting parents. As a powerful start, the entire college community took a pledge against substance abuse, reaffirming their commitment to a drug-free lifestyle.
To further spread the message, informative pamphlets were distributed across the campus. In a symbolic act of unity and resistance against drugs, a human chain was formed by students and staff members visibly showcasing their collective commitment.
Principal Dr. Faiz Abdulla emphasized the importance of continued vigilance. “Kuniya College will implement strict monitoring and consistent awareness campaigns to prevent the growing menace of intoxicant use among youth,” he said.
Through this campaign, the college strengthens its stand on nurturing not just academic excellence but also responsible, healthy citizens.
